Club ride, 44 miles – I need to watch food and sleep, it seems.
The ride itself was fine – and the gym sessions continue to be paying off as hills are easier (I’m no longer at the back of the pack, grovelling up in a granny gear. Which is not to say that’m haring off at the front either!)
I think I may need to go to sleep a little earlier and actually go to sleep, not read for an hour. And more breakfast, particularly as I’m working on weight loss still and so don’t tend to eat to have reserves.
As noted, the ride itself was fine but this afternoon has been a zonked out doze and I’m barely awake now. Yesterday’s turbo+gym means it’s been two fairly hard days and I apparently don’t have reserves for that.
